Plot

In the gripping narrative of IMPRISONED, we follow the journey of Dylan Burke (Juan Pablo Raba), a man striving to shed the skin of his former life as a small-time criminal. Along with Maria (Juana Acosta), his one true love, Dylan has managed to engineer a tranquility they both scarcely believed attainable. He now embraces the humble life of an open water fisherman, while Maria adds charm to their quaint seaport town with her coffee shop. However, as Dylan navigates the currents of his newfound peace, he finds his past isn't so easily unmoored. Unbeknownst to him, a storm is brewing on the horizon in the form of the new local prison warden, Daniel Calvin (Laurence Fishburne). Calvin, harboring a festering wound from an ancient crime, recognizes Dylan as the man responsible for his wife's death twenty-five years prior. Fueled by an unquenchable thirst for vengeance, Calvin orchestrates an intricate web of deception, framing Dylan for a chilling murder he didn't commit. As Dylan is thrust back into the cold steel bars of prison life, directly under Calvin's watchful eye, the prison's tension escalates, threatening to explode into a full-blown riot. In this high-stakes game of cat and mouse, both Burke and Calvin are forced to grapple with a difficult choice between the path of righteousness and the road of revenge. Will Dylan be able to outmaneuver the vengeful warden and reclaim his life, or will his past finally catch up with him? IMPRISONED masterfully explores the dynamics of redemption, retribution, and the inescapable hold of the past.
