Emil Kovac has been through devastating events in his life including the death of many of his friends in Serbia. Many years later, he has a chance encounter that provides him with information about a man that may have participated in the killings. Unable to forgive or forget what he's been through, Emil travels to the Appalachian Trail to learn more.
