In the quaint confines of a small English town, Cowen Rosewell and his companions, a band of close-knit friends, dwell in a shabby flat, their lives echoing the lack of opportunities that plague the youth of 2014. Consumed by the monotony of everyday life, Cowen finds solace in a BTEC media course, his first assignment requiring him to document a week of his existence.
