In the vibrant heart of Jaipur, resides Durga (Amisha Patel), a blind woman with a captivating talent for crafting exquisite clay statues of Hindu deities. Living a life of simplicity and poverty with her widowed mother, they bravely eke out a living through their pottery, adding a touch of divinity to their otherwise humble existence. Fortune introduces Durga to Babu Rohit (Arjun Rampal), a kind-hearted man who saves her life during a near-fatal accident at the edge of a cliff. Their destinies intertwined, they fall into a deep, passionate love, marred only by Durga's inability to behold the face of her beloved.
In a heartbreaking moment, Durga molds a clay likeness of Babu, her 'sir,' only to weep in despair at her inability to see it.
