Host (2020)

It's 2020 and COVID-19 is in full swing. Businesses are locked down and people left to cope with the fallout. They're stuck with being at home and away from each other. Six friends decide is time to head off to a Zoom meeting where they can connect with each other again in a safe setting. Not content to make it an ordinary meeting, they've decided to up the ante and turn it into a full fledged séance. What happens next astonishes all of the participants. This is one contemporary film that puts a new twist on an otherwise familiar plot.
