In the icy expanse of the Bering Sea, a team of dedicated grad students embarks on a groundbreaking voyage aboard the crabbing boat, Harbinger. Their mission: to observe the impact of global warming on a pod of Belugas. However, the ocean's depths hold more than just their marine subjects. A relic from the space race era, a frozen chunk of Soviet space wreckage, is dredged up by the unsuspecting crew, opening a Pandora's box of deadly consequences. This isn't mere debris from space, but a chilling testament to Soviet experimentation with tardigrades - microorganisms renowned for their resilience in the face of extreme radiation.
