Grizzly (1976)

In the heart of a scenic state park, a monstrous nightmare unfolds as an 18-foot, 2,000-pound Grizzly bear discovers an insatiable taste for human prey. The tranquility of the wilderness is shattered, replaced with terror as campers and hikers fall victim to the beast's ferocity. The head park ranger, struggling to maintain peace and safety, takes it upon himself to hunt this fearsome creature down. As the casualty count climbs, his mission becomes increasingly thwarted by the park supervisor's resistance and the influx of reckless, inebriated hunters looking for a thrill. The bear’s reign of terror leaves no one safe, claiming lives from innocent campers to brave rangers, a fearless hunter, and even a young boy and his mother. In a desperate bid to end the carnage, the ranger enlists the aid of a trusted friend, a naturalist, intending to find and tranquilize the behemoth. But the wilderness proves merciless, and the relentless Grizzly does not discriminate. Despite the growing despair, the ranger finds an unlikely ally in a helicopter pilot who shares his determination. Armed with rifles and a rocket launcher, they launch a final pursuit, a race against time and nature to eliminate the threat once and for all. As their battle with the beast reaches its climax, they realize they have underestimated their enemy. The Grizzly is not just a bear; it's a force of nature, stronger and more resilient than they ever imagined. Their fight for survival becomes a testament to the indomitable spirit of humanity against the raw power of the wild.
