Prey (2007)

In the heart of Africa, American hydraulic engineer Tom Newman takes a break from his dam project to spend cherished moments with his family at the exotic Leopard's Rest Lodge. His teenage daughter Jessica, however, is wrestling with the turbulence of her parents' divorce and harbors resentment towards her stepmother Amy. To ease the tension, Amy, Jessica, and her younger brother David embark on a thrilling game drive with a seasoned ranger, leaving Tom behind to attend his duties at the dam. However, the peaceful safari takes a terrifying turn as a pit-stop for nature's call transforms into a nightmare. A desperate pack of ravenous lions suddenly ambushes them, reducing the seasoned ranger into their desperate feast. Now, Amy, Jessica, and David are trapped in the jeep, their only refuge against the relentless predators that lurk outside. Back at the lodge, a concerned Tom realizes his family's overdue return and enlists the aid of the skilled hunter and guide, Crawford. Together, they embark on a desperate search and rescue mission. Ignorant of the bone-chilling horror that awaits them, they plunge into the wilderness, racing against time to find Tom's family before it's too late. Their survival hangs in the balance, their courage tested against the primal forces of nature. The serene beauty of Africa has swiftly turned into a playground of terror, where the line between predator and prey blurs.
