Plot

Grace, an 18-year-old devout Catholic girl, has been sheltered under the stern eye of her grandmother, Helen, ever since her mother's tragic death during childbirth. Raised draped in mystery about her father's identity, Grace steps into the world for the first time when she sets off for university. However, Grace's journey of discovery quickly turns tumultuous as she grapples with disturbing blackouts that threaten her sanity. As Grace plunges into the uncharted territories of college life, she is confronted with a lifestyle far removed from the rigid discipline of her grandmother's home. This drastic shift ignites a traumatic downward spiral, intensifying her blackouts and blurring the lines between reality and nightmare. A troubling diagnosis suggests a mental condition, prompting the recommendation of psychiatric help. However, the deeply pious Helen fiercely intervenes, yanking Grace back into the confines of their home and the church's embrace. As Grace is thrust deeper into the web of her religious upbringing, she uncovers chilling secrets about her mother, painting her past in a terrifying new light. Simultaneously, the church's priests whisper of an insidious evil lurking within Grace. As Grace navigates her unraveling life, the mystery of her sinister blackouts deepens. It becomes increasingly evident that these aren't mere symptoms of a mental ailment, but the workings of a supernatural adversary. Caught between a past shrouded in secrets and an unwelcome entity, Grace must confront the darkness within and around her.
