Goblin (2010)

In the shadowed corners of Hollow Glen village, a chilling tale of horror was born on October 31, 1831. Villagers, in their fervor to protect their homes, ignited a sacrificial bonfire, casting into the flames what they deemed 'unclean.' Among the offerings was a malformed infant, whose mother, a witch, weaved a curse of retribution. She summoned an abhorrent creature, a goblin, from her son's skeletal remains, tasked with stealing the souls of the villagers' offspring each Halloween. This eerie legend of the Goblin was carved deep into the heart of the village. Fast forward to the present, Neil Perkins, his new wife Kate, their rebellious daughter Nikki, infant son Nathan and Nikki's confidante Cammy, journey to a secluded cabin in Hollow Glen. Their aim is to establish a business venture with Neil's associate, Owen. Local inebriate, Charlie, cautions them to vacate the village before Halloween, but his warnings fall on deaf ears. On the fated Halloween night, while Neil, Kate and Owen engage in a meeting with Sheriff Milgreen, Nikki and Cammy are left to babysit Nathan. During a fleeting moment of distraction, Nikki leaves Nathan unattended. Upon her return, she finds the crib empty and her friends falling victim to the gory onslaught of the Goblin. The village legend is no longer a tale, but a terrifying reality, as the Goblin rises to claim its due.
