Plot

In a clandestine tournament held every seven years, an unsuspecting town becomes a battlefield. For this deadly game, the world's 40 most lethal assassins convene, their sights set on one goal: becoming the last man standing. The reward? A staggering $10,000,000 and the coveted title of 'World's No. 1 Assassin', an honour that carries the legendary million-dollar-a-bullet price tag. This time, the tranquil English town of Middlesbrough has been chosen as the bloody arena. Among the ruthless participants is Joshua Harlow, the former victor, fueled by a thirst for vengeance following the heinous murder of his pregnant wife by a fellow competitor. Joining him is Lai Lai Zhen, a sultry, high-kicking sharpshooter from China, hoping to win her freedom from a life of violence. Miles Slade, a deranged Texan, enters the fray solely for the thrill of causing chaos, while Anton Bogart, a free-running killer, sees the Tournament as the ultimate test of his skills. The plot thickens with the accidental involvement of Father Joseph Macavoy, a hard-drinking priest who finds himself thrust into the deadly competition. Caught amid the crossfire and targeted as a player, it falls to Lai Lai Zhen to protect him. Their mission? To survive long enough to remove the assassin tracker embedded within him, all while navigating the treacherous labyrinth of murder and mayhem that is The Tournament. The stakes have never been higher, the danger never more palpable, and survival never more uncertain.
