Wicked City (1987)

In the intricate fabric of reality, two parallel dimensions coexist - Earth, our familiar realm, and the Black World, a cryptic dimension cloaked in mystery. A delicate truce, centuries-old, has maintained an uneasy peace between these worlds, a pact that must be renegotiated and renewed to preserve this fragile harmony. Yet, the winds of change are stirring, and a shadowy insurgence known as The Radicals threatens to shatter this peace, willing to unleash chaos to thwart the signing of this inter-dimensional treaty. Against this impending darkness stand the Black Guards, an elite organization dedicated to upholding the balance between these two worlds. Among their ranks are Taki Renzaburo, a human agent hailing from Shibuya, and Makie, a native of the Black World. Together, they are entrusted with the mission of safeguarding Giuseppi Mayart, a venerable 200-year-old man who holds the key to the continued peace between both worlds. If The Radicals succeed in eliminating Mayart, the bridge between the human world and the Black World will crumble, and terror will reign supreme. As these Radical elements from the supernatural world begin their treacherous invasion into the mortal universe, Taki and Makie find themselves in a thrilling race against time. Can they protect Mayart and prevent the destruction of peace that has prevailed for centuries? The fate of two worlds hangs in the balance, resting on the shoulders of these devoted guardians in the face of an encroaching darkness. The stage is set for an epic battle of survival, where loyalty will be tested, alliances forged, and the destiny of worlds decided.
