Gloria (1980)

Gloria Svenson, an ex-mob girl turned inconspicuous neighbour, finds her life brutally upended when Jack Dawn, her bookkeeper neighbour with covert ties to the NYC mob, and his family are marked for death. Jack has been secretly compiling a personal copy of the mob's accounts, a black book of deathly secrets that puts a target on any possessor. In the shadow of impending doom, Jack's wife entrusts their six-year-old boy, Phil, to Gloria's care, catapulting her back into a world she thought she had left behind.
