Genius (2016)

Max Perkins may not be a household name, but his legendary work as an editor played a large role in the success of some of the most notable writers of the 10th century. This is the story of a man who guided, corralled, and nurtured the feuding Fitzgerald and Hemingway — but his most notable friendship was with Tom Wolfe. Perkins takes Wolfe in as a young writer and sets about the harsh task of cutting materials. Perkins and Wolfe become not just colleagues but also close friends — but jealousy will rear its ugly head and begin to jeopardize their friendship.
