For Love and Honor (2016)

Colonel Tom Brennan, widowed and bruised from an injury that catalyzed his early retirement from the military, finds himself at a crossroads, uncertain of his move into civilian life. His transitional phase is interrupted by an unexpected possibility when Major-General Henry Cabot, a former superior and current head of the Stone Creek School Board, offers him a chance to salvage their alma mater, Stone Creek Military Academy. The academy, once a proud institution, now faces the brink of closure due to dwindling enrollment, scarce donations, and a fading military tradition. With the intention of reviving the academy's honor, Henry persuades Tom to lead the military program. Despite the role being a far cry from his imagined civilian life, Tom accepts. As he steps into the academy, he discovers a disheartening lack of discipline among the cadets and immediately locks horns with the newly appointed Dean of Academics, Caroline Foster. Caroline, a firm believer in the power of education, flexibility, and spiritual benefits of yoga, is unyielding to the stringent military traditions. The tension between Tom and Caroline heightens when they are thrust into a race against time to save the academy from its imminent closure by the end of the school year. This urgent mission forces them to overcome their differences and work together, a task seemingly impossible given their contrasting beliefs. As they embark on this journey, their lives intertwine with that of Tom's college-going daughter, Kylie, who cherishes her father but resents his soldier-like treatment, and Mason Keller, a cadet sent to the academy as a last-ditch attempt by his parents to reform him. In the face of adversity, the sparks of conflict ignite into a flame of collaboration and unexpected romance. As they strive to preserve the academy, a cornerstone of the town's identity, they experience a profound transformation, altering the course of their lives and those around them. The fate of the academy and the evolving relationship between Tom and Caroline keeps the viewer on edge, promising a ride of tension, passion, and transformation.
