Alice Cespi, a translator plagued by haunting nightmares of an abandoned astronaut on the moon, finds solace only in the false peace of sleeping pills. Waking up one day, she realizes she has lost three days from her memory, her job, and her sense of normalcy. Her only clue is a torn postcard from the seaside town of Garma, a place she does not recall ever visiting. In search of answers, she ventures to the picturesque but mysterious Garma Hotel. Here, the locals, including the enigmatic Paola Bersel and the unfamiliar Harry, recognize her as 'Nicole', a woman she has no memory of being. This coastal town, once just a picture on a postcard, now feels eerily like a puzzle she has to solve.
