Plot

In the heart of hillbilly country, a tumbledown farm finds itself under the ownership of 'Sach' Jones, an unlikely heir who unwittingly becomes the focus of a fiercely feuding local clan. As the hillbillies grow suspicious, they seek to determine whether Sach belongs to the Jones family, a lineage they've driven away or exterminated over the years. To keep himself safe, Sach shrouds his identity in mystery, a strategy that works until an unexpected twist of fate arrives. The tranquility of rural life is shattered when an audacious gang of criminals, led by the notorious 'Big Jim', descends upon the farm. They plan to use Sach's new inheritance as a refuge, evading the relentless pursuit of the law. The hillbillies, already on high alert, are quick to lump the gangsters with Sach, deeming them all part of the ill-fated Jones clan. With the pressure mounting, Sach and his band of friends, known as the Bowery Boys, find themselves in a battle of wits with the crooks. As they navigate this dangerous landscape of rural feuds and bank robbers, they must outsmart their adversaries and stall the gangsters long enough for the police to arrive. Amid the chaos, the true essence of camaraderie, courage, and cunning is revealed, painting a vibrant picture of life and conflict in the American South.
