Euro Trapped (2013)

In the heart of America, we meet Charlie (Bobby Kennedy), a fresh graduate who, instead of embracing the stiff collar world of employment and responsibility, has his sights set on a different horizon. When his affluent parents present him with a $5000 check and a demand for independence, Charlie makes an audacious move. He purchases a one-way ticket to Italy, trading in the American dream for a taste of la dolce vita. However, within moments of stepping onto Italian soil, he's swiftly robbed, leaving him a stranger in a strange land. Fate intervenes, introducing him to the self-styled King of Bologna, Lele (Lele Gabellone), who takes him under his wing. Charlie is drawn into a vibrant world of all-night parties, sizzling Italian women, and an eclectic group of friends, including the ragged punk, Ballo (Gianlucca Bazzoli), and the notorious lady-chaser, Il Pisa (Giuseppe Sanfelice). Amidst the chaos and revelry, Charlie learns to navigate the rich tapestry of Italian life, becoming a natural in his new environment. His adventure takes a romantic turn when he encounters the enchanting Valentina (Alessandra Mastronardi) and the quintessential American beauty, Jessica (Eva Amurri). However, Charlie's Italian idyll veers into dangerous territory as he unwittingly incurs the wrath of two formidable Mafia bosses: the ruthless Don Ferracane (Giancarlo Giannini), and the cunning Don Farina (Ernesto Mahieux). Now, this once carefree American kid, barely able to utter a word in Italian and surrounded by Italy's most notorious party-goers, must face the ominous shadow of Italy's underworld. Will our hapless hero escape the clutches of organized crime, or has his Italian adventure just become a deadly game of survival?
