Plot

In the twilight of their lives, Elsa and Fred stumble upon a profound truth - it's never too late to chase love and resurrect dormant dreams. Elsa, a spirited woman, has spent six decades nurturing a dream, one conjured by Fellini in 'La Dolce Vita'. Her vision is to recreate the iconic scene at the Fontana di Trevi, not with Anita Ekberg or Marcello Mastroianni, but with a love that has been elusive. Fred, a man who has always toed the line of convention, is left rudderless after his wife's death. As his world spirals into confusion, his daughter believes a change of scenery might serve him well. Relocating to a more modest apartment, he encounters Elsa - a meeting that sparks a seismic shift in his life. Elsa storms into Fred's world like a tempest of vitality, resolute in her mission to show him that the remainder of his life, however long or short, is a treasure to be savored on his own terms. Surrendering to Elsa's exuberance and audacious charm, Fred embarks on a journey of self-discovery. When he uncovers Elsa's terminal condition, he resolves to fulfill her lifelong dream, whisking her away to Rome to recreate the enchanting scene at the Fontana di Trevi. Thus, Fred learns not merely to exist, but truly to live.
