In a world teetering on the brink of annihilation, espionage agents uncover a chilling revelation - the Red Chinese have engineered a "doomsday machine" with the terrifying capability of obliterating Earth's surface. The countdown to this apocalyptic event is ticking, the endgame is mere days away. Amidst this unfolding catastrophe, Project Astra, an ambitious manned space voyage to Venus, spearheaded by the U.S., is nearing its final countdown.
