In the quirky comedy, "Don't Give Up the Ship" (1959), John Paul Steckler VII, a hapless yet endearing naval officer who stems from a lineage of notorious naval blunders, finds himself in an unimaginable predicament. Joined by the resourceful Ensign Benson, Steckler embarks on a hilariously chaotic quest to uncover the truth behind the vanishing vessel.
