Dhamaal (2007)

In the chaotic heart of a bustling Indian city, four hapless slackers – Boman Contractor, a wealthy heir disowned by his car-obsessed father; Aditya and Manav, orphaned siblings with a penchant for trouble; and Deshbandhu Roy, a cunning trickster with a magnetized belt – live together under the weary gaze of their long-suffering landlady. After a series of hilariously botched con jobs, these four misfits are booted out of their dwelling and inadvertently find themselves on the wrong side of the law, landing in the unforgiving wilderness of the countryside. Their fortunes, however, take an unexpected turn when they witness a car crash, the sole occupant of which is Bose, a notorious underworld don. With his dying breath, Bose reveals a tantalizing secret – he has stashed 10 Crore Rupees in the verdant St. Sebastian's Garden in Goa, under the shadow of a mysterious 'big W'. Whosoever finds it, can keep it. This tantalizing prospect sets the quartet on a madcap race to Goa, in a stolen car that once belonged to the eccentric Nari Contractor. Unbeknownst to our intrepid adventurers, they are not alone in this frantic chase. Hot on their heels is the disgruntled Police Inspector Kabir Nayak, a paragon of honesty in a system that fails to appreciate him. His obsession with the elusive underworld don leads him to cross paths with the quartet, adding another layer to the frenzied pursuit of the hidden fortune. Meanwhile, a bus hijacker turned bandit named Baabubhai complicates matters by taking Deshbandhu hostage, and Nari Contractor, desperate for the money to repair his beloved, now completely damaged car, also joins the fray. This motley crew, each driven by their own motives and desires, embarks on a wild chase across a tapestry of landscapes, employing an array of vehicles and even an airplane in their quest for the buried treasure. Alliances will be tested, laws will be broken, and the resilience of their friendship will be challenged as each tries to outsmart the other to secure the cash for themselves. Dhamaal is a rollicking rollercoaster ride of laughter, excitement, and suspense, where the winner takes it all, and the losers... well, they just lose.
