Devil's Island (1939)

In the heart of a society where justice is often skewed, respected neurosurgeon Dr. Gaudet finds himself ensnared in an unanticipated predicament. His Hippocratic Oath compels him to treat a wounded revolutionary on the run from the law, a decision which lands him in the brutal and merciless confines of the notorious French penal colony, Devil's Island. Horrified by her husband's inhumanity, Lucien's wife intervenes, orchestrating a daring escape for Dr. Gaudet and his fellow prisoners.
