In the secluded wilderness of Washington State, a tense reunion unfolds as Adam, lured by an ardent desire to mend the frayed threads of brotherhood, returns after a decade and a half of estrangement to reconnect with his brother Clint. The shadow of their father Glen's favoritism hangs heavy over Adam, his heart laden with unspoken sorrow and silent grief. The brothers, hoping to bridge their chasm of resentment, embark on a weekend hunting expedition, their prey - the elusive deer that roam the dense forest. However, the tranquility of their surroundings soon gives way to uncanny dread as they stumble upon a chilling sight in the heart of the forest - a cave, ominously guarded by a ring of deer antlers. A primal fear takes hold, their hunter instincts warning them of the unnatural presence that lurks within. Their retreat is marred by the relentless pursuit of a malevolent entity, its supernatural nature turning their hunting trip into a desperate fight for survival. Trapped in the inky depths of the forest and hemmed in by an unseen predator, the brothers find themselves forced to set aside their bitter differences. United by a common goal - to emerge alive from the clutches of the forest and its lurking terror - they face a test of their bond and their fortitude.
