In the heart of Mexico City, the tapestry of love, passion, and resentment threads together the lives of Beatriz (Silvia Pasquel) and the Old Man (Alejandro Suárez). Once a revered homeopathic pharmacist, the Old Man now haunts their shared home, draped in his housecoat, spitting venom at Beatriz one moment and stealing away to the arms of his mistress the next. Beatriz, in turn, seeks solace in the rhythmic embrace of tango. Beneath the soft notes and sultry steps, she finds a spark of desire with her younger dance partner (Daniel Giménez Cacho), a secret flame that threatens to ignite her monotonous existence.
