Plot

Jae-hyuk, a simple man in the prime of his life, navigates the monotony of his job, selling medical supplies to doctors. His brother, Jae-pil, a detective with a lackadaisical attitude towards public safety, is more engrossed in the ebb and flow of the stock market than in solving crimes. Their mundane lives are violently disrupted when a wave of mysterious and horrifying deaths sweeps the nation, leaving the skeletal remains of victims floating in bodies of water. As the police commissioner scrutinizes CCTV footage of people plunging into water, seemingly bewitched and succumbing to watery graves, a chill runs down the nation's spine. With hundreds of similar cases pouring in and no discernible cause, a national emergency is declared, shaking the core of the country. Thrust into the heart of the investigation, Jae-pil crosses paths with a small-town mayor who asserts witnessing men in uniform surreptitiously dumping infected dogs into streams. As realization dawns, Jae-pil unearths a conspiracy shrouding the outbreak. Simultaneously, fear grips Jae-hyuk as his wife and children begin to exhibit symptoms akin to the victims'. A race against time commences as he desperately searches for a cure. A glimmer of hope appears when Jae-pil uncovers a warehouse teeming with a potential antidote. Unaware of what awaits him, Jae-hyuk embarks on a perilous journey to the warehouse, his family's lives hanging in the balance.
