Pompeii (2014)

The explosion of volcanic Mount Vesuvius over the village of Pompeii is given more personal weight in this story of a gladiator who would do anything to save the woman he loves. Unfortunately, she has been engaged to a senator, and he is still a slave. Reaching his lost love in Pompeii will mean first fighting his way to freedom and then contending with one of the worst and most cataclysmic natural disasters in human history. And as chance would have it, Pompeii is also home to the wicked man who orphaned our hero and made him a slave as a child.
