From the pulsating heart of the city to the languid rhythm of small-town Hargrove, sharp-witted teenager Caroline Wexler embarks on her senior year after a sudden move with her widowed father. As an industrial fire fiercely consumes the town's edge and a chilling white-suited serial killer stalks its adolescent girls, Caroline's life takes on a thrilling, unforeseen trajectory.
