In the shadowy underworld of New York City, Johnny Yonkers, a man of dangerous reputation, is out on bail for the chilling murder of Battaglia. Though he claims self-defense, the chilling echoes of the gunshot tell a different story - a ruthless mob execution. Both Yonkers and his lawyer are haunted by the knowledge of a hidden female witness, the silent observer who holds the key to his fate. The narrative swiftly shifts to the majestic wilderness of Montana's Glacier National Park, believed to be the refuge of the terrified witness, young Louise Graham. Unbeknownst to Louise, two men are hot on her trail with opposing intentions. The charming ex-marine, Matt Hallett, and the enigmatic amateur photographer, Paul Adams, both show an intense interest in her. Amidst the park's natural beauty, a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues, with one man tasked to silence Louise forever, and the other to shield her from the lurking danger.
