In the startling remnants of 2070s Moscow, a city ravaged by nuclear war, a revolution in energy technology has arisen from the ashes. The once-relied upon sources like oil and coal are distant memories, replaced by a chilling innovation that transforms the human body into raw energy, leaving only a whisper of grey dust in its wake. The survivors, huddled within the confines of a fortified underground city, engage in a grimly popular pastime - a deadly dance tournament held in an imposing sealed bunker. Every rhythmic move, each desperate twirl, is a dance of death where only the victors continue to breathe, while the defeated fuel the city, their bodies converted into life-giving energy that powers the force field safeguarding the underground city from lethal radiation. Within these bleak walls, young Kostya (Ivan Zhvakin), a captive from a recent police raid, finds himself ensnared in the deadly dance-off. A twist of fate leads him to the enigmatic Anya (Lukerya Ilyashenko), a high-ranking official's daughter who has willingly surrendered herself to the tournament for the city's sake. Their paths intertwine in the haunting echo of music and the desperate struggle to live, sparking a love as radiant as the energy they dance to generate. As the deadly dance continues, the tournament's rhythm is disrupted by Kostya's determination to save his beloved Anya from an impending doom. The stakes are life and death, and every beat is a countdown to survival.
