In the heart of a sleepy college campus, a world of interdimensional warfare is about to collide with the life of an unsuspecting everyman, Joe Talbot (Josh Charles). Thrust abruptly from the realm of textbooks and term papers, Joe finds himself the reluctant hero in a cosmic conflict, his world turned topsy-turvy by the discovery that his father's innocuous heirloom pendant is actually the key to a powerful staff that unlocks the mysterious Crossworlds.
