Croc (2007)

In the sultry heart of exotic Thailand, the serene facade of a beach resort is shattered by the awakening of an ancient beast. An enormous salt-water crocodile, provoked by man's greed and ignorance, emerges from the depths to claim the land as its hunting ground. Locals and tourists alike begin to vanish, leaving behind an echo of terror and a trail of unanswered questions. "Croc" Hawkins, an experienced crocodile hunter burdened by past encounters with the beast, is drawn to the challenge. A substantial reward becomes secondary to the grudge he holds against this amphibian terror. However, the crocodile proves to be a formidable opponent, more powerful than anything Hawkins has ever faced before, and the body count continues to rise ominously. Woven into this tale of man against nature is a subplot of deceit and rivalry.
