Wendy Carroll, a single mother and the proud operator of Carroll's Candy Shop, a small-town treasure and her late father's legacy, is facing the harsh reality of foreclosure. The store is more than just a business; it's a sweet symbol of her past, a tribute to her father, and the only life she's ever known in the quaint town of Quinton. With the threat of losing her store looming and Christmas on the horizon, Wendy, along with her young daughter Grace, embarks on a journey to the bustling city of Los Angeles, hoping to earn enough seasonal income to save their beloved shop. Wendy's childhood friend Angie, a musical theater aspirant, gets her a job at Wolman's Department Store, a once-thriving business that has lost its financial footing. The store, run by its founder Harry Wolman and his nephew Tom, prides itself on family values, treating staff like their own kin. This Christmas, however, these values are under threat as the Board of Directors hires a ruthless retail consultant, Teanna Musk, to restore the store to profitability. Nicknamed 'Cruella' by the staff, Teanna Musk is a Christmas spirit crusher, replacing Santa with male models and elfin helpers in a bid to boost sales. Unbeknownst to everyone, Teanna's ambitious plans extend beyond corporate revival, eyeing a power play for a corporate takeover, with Tom as her romantic pawn. Wendy, who shares a mutual attraction with Tom, becomes a target for Teanna, who sees her as a threat to her grand scheme. Caught in a whirlwind of corporate games, budding romance, and the looming loss of her father's store, Wendy must navigate this complex maze. With Grace's faith in Christmas dwindling, Wendy knows she must protect the spirit of the holiday and save her father's shop before it's too late.
