In the cozy town of Pinewood, Washington, nestled beneath the towering presence of the Joint Lewis-McChord Army Base, resides Amanda Edwards, the curator of the Pinewood Heritage Museum. As an army brat and widow, her life is deeply intertwined with the military, her husband Rick having tragically lost his life on a mission two Christmases ago.
