In the bustling city of Mumbai, we meet Rahul (Shahrukh Khan), a reluctant bachelor of forty, who inherited a thriving sweet-selling empire after the tragic demise of his parents. When his grandfather passes away on the eve of his 100th birthday, Rahul is entrusted with an unusual last wish: half of his grandfather's ashes must be immersed at Rameswaram.
