Brooklyn (2015)

It's the 1950s, and 20-something Ellis cannot find a job in her small Irish town. A priest helps her arrange a move to New York City, where she gets a room in a boarding house, begins training as a bookkeeper and falls in love. However, a family tragedy calls her home to Ireland, and she must make a choice between her old life there and the new life she has carved out for herself in Brooklyn.
