Cashback (2007)

This is the story of how one person deals with psychological problems. Ben is an artist who is blocked because of the death of his father when Ben was young. He is also depressed because his girlfriend left him. He can’t sleep at night, so he gets a job working the night shift at a supermarket. His imagination starts to run wild and he finds that he can stop time and watch the artistic beauty of the frozen world. His coworkers add interest and entertainment to his nights. He especially likes the pretty checkout girl, which could be the beginning of a new romance, but he has to give up stopping time.

Cashback is a comedy movie featuring Lene Bausager and directed by Sean Ellis.
