On the desolate stretches of Wucaipa, a chilling encounter leaves two women, a driver and her blind friend Tammy, in a terrifying car crash. Tammy, the sole survivor, is rushed to Wucaipa General Hospital, which soon becomes a breeding ground for horror. Simultaneously, the local high school basketball team's skirmish on the court lands the captain, Matt, and his injured teammates, Joey and Brian, in the very same hospital. Tammy, teetering on the edge of death, shares a poignant moment with a compassionate candy striper nurse, Janine. A seemingly harmless kiss triggers an alien onslaught, as an extraterrestrial entity invades Janine, turning her into a carrier of a rapidly multiplying virus. The infection spreads like wildfire, consuming nurses, doctors, and patients, turning the hospital into a nightmarish epicenter of an alien epidemic. Caught in the middle of this horror is Cherie, Joey's sister, who harbors a secret affection for Matt. She stays by their side, witnessing the transformation of her brother at the hands of a seductive nurse. As the hospital descends into chaos and is put under quarantine, Matt implores Cherie to summon his girlfriend, Krystal, in a desperate attempt to escape. However, the hospital is now under the dominion of the infected candy stripers who have a sinister need for sugar. They are hell-bent on exploiting it to spawn a new, alien generation. The once comforting corridors of Wucaipa General Hospital become a macabre maze, with survival hinging on courage, wits, and the desperate hope for a miracle.
