Plot

As autumn descends upon the volatile ATO zone in Eastern Ukraine, 2014, a taut web of political intrigue and personal allegiances begins to unfurl. At the heart of it all is the seasoned Captain Anton Saenko, known by his cryptic call sign "Banderas". Leading a squad of counterintelligence agents, he's thrust into a tense chess game of sabotage and subterfuge, aiming to dismantle the machinations of the elusive Russian emissary known only as "Walker." The mission, however, is steeped in a bitter irony. It unravels right in Banderas' forsaken home village, a place he turned his back on years ago. Now, the return of the prodigal son incites a whirlpool of emotions. The villagers, his erstwhile neighbors, view him through the fog of resentment, branding him a traitor. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military perceives him as a hostile force, a proverbial wolf amidst the flock. "Call Sign 'Banderas'" weaves a riveting tale of duty and betrayal, loyalty and suspicion. It plunges the viewer into a world where the lines between friends and foes blur, where every decision echoes in the silence of abandoned homes and the whispers of those left behind. In this high-stakes game of shadows and secrets, can Banderas outwit his adversaries, or will he become a pawn in a war larger than himself?
