The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)

This was the third and final film of the Lords of the Rings film trilogy, one based on the classic fantasy series. It picks off where the second film left off: Gollum is continuing to lead Froddo and Samwise to destroy the One Ring, but is secretly fighting his own internal battle about whether or not to take the ring for himself. At the same time, the final battle between good and evil forces is starting to assemble, and this battle will, once and for all, determine the success or failure of Froddo's ability to save Middle Earth.
