Plot

In the racially charged atmosphere of Kincaid County, three African American men, Raymond Moffat, Junior Moffat, and Ned Tiese, find themselves on a tumultuous path after a confrontation with a Caucasian man. Fleeing their homes, they enlist in the army, combating not only the Vietnamese but also the harsh realities of life through illicit narcotics trade. Their return to their hometown heralds a new chapter in their lives as they strive to empower the beleaguered residents, enlisting the local preacher to aid in the fight for voting rights. However, their noble intentions provoke a hostile response from the threatened Caucasian minority. Donning the notorious white hoods of the Ku Klux Klan, these disgruntled citizens declare war, brandishing signs of 'Fight Communist and Integration', and unleashing a wave of terror. The situation spirals further out of control when a black woman suffers sexual assault, a black man is wrongfully accused, and the county's Sheriff is murdered. With the reins of law enforcement now in the hands of corrupt officials and the town under the menacing shadow of heavily armed Klansmen, the trio find themselves defending not only their rights but their lives, in a desperate struggle against those who seek to silence their voices.
