In the heart of Borderline Normal (2000), Jeremy lives in a world that's slowly unraveling. His mother has relocated to Windsor, while his father and elder brother remain in Detroit, thrusting him into a bitter tug-of-war between his estranged parents. As Jeremy navigates these tumultuous waters, a new school in Canada adds another layer of complexity to his already challenging existence. However, this new environment also offers a glimmer of hope. He stumbles upon a support group for children grappling with the aftermath of their parents' divorces, where he encounters Beth, a resilient girl who's carved her own path through the tangled brush of separation.
