Plot

In the heart of Los Angeles, four women friends navigate the complexities of their lives. Among them, three are affluent and married, while Olivia, a former educator, now earns her living as a maid. Their friendships reflect the stark contrasts and shared realities of their lives. Franny and Matt, the epitome of financial success and marital bliss, live a life brimming with wealth. On the other hand, Christine and David, a pair of screenplay authors, are entangled in a home renovation project that mirrors their tumultuous relationship. Jane, perpetually engulfed in a cloud of irritation, and her ever-doting husband Aaron, who oddly radiates a hint of homosexuality, form another peculiar duo. Franny, in an attempt to help Olivia, arranges a meeting with Mike, a fitness guru. Olivia takes Mike to her housecleaning assignments, introducing another layer of complexity to the narrative. Cornerstone events such as a fundraising dinner for ALS, the eccentricities of an uncomfortable man named Marty whose house Olivia cleans, and a provocative French maid's costume, become the threads that weave the tapestry of their lives. As they grapple with their personal challenges, the question arises - is life merely a sum of its tribulations, or is there more that lies beneath?
