Once a heavyweight champion, Bud "Bomber" Graziano (Bud Spencer) hangs up his gloves, vowing to leave his boxing days behind. Choosing the serenity of sea life, Bomber finds himself intertwined with the ever-troublesome Jerry Cala' (Jerry Cala), a Lombard punter with an uncanny knack for finding himself in hot water.
The scale of Jerry's problems escalates when he unwittingly incites the wrath of a group of brutal thugs. These ruffians, answering only to a new, seemingly invincible boxing champion, present a threat that Jerry cannot manage alone. As fate would have it, Bomber's path crosses with that of the fearsome boxing champion, Rosco, inciting a spark within him that reignites his dormant passion for boxing.
In response, Bomber unveils a gym for aspiring amateurs and takes under his wing the promising young talent, George. However, when a battle between George and the indomitable Rosco ends in defeat, Bomber's hard-earned legacy teeters on the brink of collapse. Faced with the potential ruin of all he's built, Bomber resolves to step back into the ring, confronting the formidable Rosco in a fight where more than just titles are at stake.
