Plot

Charlie is just a small fish swimming in the bigger pool of New York mafioso. He makes a decent living collecting protection money, but his position in the community means making some sacrifices. Primarily, that means keeping the identity of his epileptic girlfriend a secret and never mentioning his unreliable friend Johnny Boy. Charlie has a chance to inherit a restaurant and begin making a name for himself in the family, but that could also mean giving up on the people he cares about the most. Preparing for his future could mean Charlie has to figuratively cut out his own heart.
