In the vibrant world of Indo-Canadian society, Rahul Seth grapples with a family promise made a decade ago. However, Ruby, Rahul's melodramatic mother, presents a dilemma. She insists that Rahul's sister Twinky's wedding won't proceed until he finds a South Asian wife. Desperate to see his sister happily married, Rahul devises an elaborate plan. He strikes a costly deal with Sue, a fiery woman he met in a bar who appeared to work as an escort.
