In a parallel universe eerily similar to our own, humanity quivers in the shadow of chilling vampiric beasts known as Aswangs. Mercenaries, known as Blood Hunters, are commissioned by a shadowy scientific firm to hunt these monstrous predators and extract their blood, aiming to weaponize the very essence of the creatures they fear. Our heroine, Gabriela Chen, is a former cop turned rogue hunter with a vendetta. She is on an unyielding quest for vengeance against the Aswang beast, Naga, who slaughtered her family. However, after a fierce confrontation with Naga and the colossal Kapre warlord, Gundra, Gabriela finds herself bested and near death. Her salvation comes from the Slayers, a group of Blood Hunters operating from a secluded jungle facility, who rescue her and introduce her to a world she never knew existed. The ranks of the Slayers are bolstered by the arrival of Bolo, a hybrid half-human, half-Aswang, who is on his own path of revenge. He harnesses the power of Aswang blood, using it to augment his strength and resilience, walking a dangerous line between man and monster. Following the demise of an Aswang queen, a former leader of the Blood Hunters succumbs to temptation, injecting the queen's blood into his veins. The resulting transformation is grotesque, birthing a horrifying hybrid who amasses an army of his own kind.
