Plot

In the dazzling world of Hollywood, Jack McKenzie, a skilled film composer, has just completed a cosmic symphony for a big-budget science fiction epic, The Land of the Astronauts. However, when the movie crashes and burns at the box office, Jack finds his career in tatters. Swapping his conductor's baton for the steering wheel of a limousine, he begins a new journey, chauffeuring the famous and flamboyant Australian actor, Thomas Bower. Bower, an ardent fan of Jack's work, quickly forms a bond with him. With the glittering city around him, Jack stumbles upon the enigmatic and untamed Erica at an AA meeting, sparking a stirring romance. However, Hollywood isn't all glamour and glitz as Jack soon discovers. Deception lurks in the shadows, his ex-wife and her antagonistic boyfriend — who is none other than his former lawyer — apply relentless pressure, and a haunting guilt over his daughter's accidental death gnaws at his sanity. Walking on the edge of madness, Jack's perception of reality begins to blur, and the vibrant world around him morphs into a surreal waking dream. Engaging and immersive, Black Limousine is a journey through the fragile psyche of a man teetering on the brink, where the ordinary becomes extraordinary and nothing is as it seems.
