In the peaceful confines of a small town, four young boys are snatched from their lives by the chillingly charismatic James Whitley, a psychopath with a twisted mission. Driven by a ghastly desire to reunite orphaned children with their deceased parents, Whitley's gruesome quest is interrupted when the boys manage to escape, leading to his capture. A decade and a half later, a prison fire provides Whitley with the perfect opportunity to flee and pick up where he left off. The case lands on the desk of Detective Larson, one of Whitley's former victims, whose intimate familiarity with the case is perceived as a threat to objectivity. Consequently, he's removed from the case, leaving his partner and lover, Detective Shotwell, to unravel the mystery. However, fueled by a potent mix of wrath and the tantalizing allure of redemption, Larson embarks on a solitary manhunt, determined to bring Whitley to justice. In his relentless pursuit, he unwittingly falls back into the same sinister trap he narrowly escaped as a child. This chilling narrative explores a haunting dance of cat-and-mouse, where past horrors intertwine with present-day demons in a terrifying clash of survival and sanity.
