Plot

In the heart of a small town grappling with economic strife, we find Matthew Peyton (Ryan O'Quinn); a man torn between the allure of financial prosperity and his obligation to fund the cherished annual Christmas pageant. His desperate business maneuvers tarnish his reputation, leaving him at the mercy of his embittered employees seeking retribution. As the once sanctified Christmas festival morphs into a commercial extravaganza, the true essence of the season seems to be fading. The voice of a narrator, possibly a pastor, echoes through the air, recounting the original Christmas tale to an eager crowd of children, serving as a poignant reminder of what the holiday truly represents. Amidst the chaos, Matthew crosses paths with the jubilant Clarence (Isaac Ryan Brown), a young boy who staunchly believes in miracles. This encounter presents Matthew with a stark choice: pursue personal gain or embrace faith, opening his heart to the possibility of miracles and the needs of his community. Believe (2016) is an evocative Christian movie that explores the tension between commercial interests and spiritual values. It invites viewers on a journey of faith, redemption, and the rediscovery of the true spirit of Christmas. It reminds us that miracles happen when we look beyond our self-interests and embrace a sense of community.
